Summary

Kit Ainslie is a concept artist passionate about art, technology, and the creative processes involved in video game creation. He finds immense satisfaction in the creation and refinement of visual concepts and designs of all kinds, particularly creature, character, and vehicle designs. He works well on creative teams and enjoys incorporating critique into his work.

He was born and raised in small-town Montana by two enthusiastic entrepreneurs. It is in the spirit of this tenacious independence that Kit was inspired to create and sell his own artwork. He was the art lead on the video game project “Inaudible,” has contributed art and design work to numerous video game projects, and has designed logos and graphic design work for clients. Kit is currently in his final year at Cogswell Polytechnical College in San Jose, CA.

    -Collaborate with the Lead Graphic Designer to implement artistic vision.

    -Design material for external marketing and promotional use, including but not limited to: Admissions pamphlets, college social event fliers and social media materials.

    -Refine designs for fliers and promotional material in a variety of formats for many social media platforms.

    -Design posters and promotional material for internal marketing use.

    -Manage internal marketing network, including scheduling and distribution of completed work.

General Purpose Laborer-Trackside Auto body

June 2015-August 2015

    -Emptying trash cans, sweeping and cleaning areas of the shop, operating a floor scrubber, moving client vehicles in and out of the storage lot behind the shop, and hauling scrap metal and cardboard.

    -20+ hours operating a Genie Scissor lift, using it to remove sheetrock from the ceiling, remove nails, and dust.

    -Wall painting using roller brush. Running errands to various businesses in the nearby area, dropping off old batteries and picking up parts from suppliers.
